Charlie and I have headed South in Goa to the laidback hippie-backpacker town of Palolem, where some very clever person has come up with an ingenious way of keeping the party going after the 10 pm noise curfew. Wireless headphones. Brilliant. (As a sometimes prematurely middle aged person who stuffs paper napkin in her ears in a futile effort to not go deaf in her old aged, I also appreciated that I could control the headphone's volume.) The one party we went to actually had 2 DJs going at once, side-by-side, and you could change your channel to listen to the music you preferred. The benefits of this are more debateable, but it is still ingenious.
