Over the past few days, Charlie and I visited ancient caves at Ajanta and Ellora. The caves were carved out of mountains over centuries starting in 2nd century B.C. There are three groups of caves at Ellora dedicated to Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism, which involves being naked all the time and not killing anything, including root vegetables. (Not joking.) We were stunned by their beauty and grand scale. Now off to the tropical beaches in Goa!
