Valley of the Giants

From Pemberton, Charlie and I head further South to Walpole and Nannup. Not to be repetitive, but this area is yet another wine region in SW Australia with amazing, beaches, national parks and wineries.

Nannup is the location of the Tree Top Walk. In an effort to protect the ecosystem of the Karri forest from the tourists' footsteps, the national park service has built a walkway that at its height rises 40 meters above the forest. The walkway is built to replicate the movement and sensation of actually being in a treetop. It is a one of a kind experience to see the forest from this view.
