A New Man

We have been told that many Indians believe that a person's beauty is in their hair -- hence the Indian women wear lovely long braids to the waist. We have seen men and women shave their heads when doing a pilgrimage, as a sacrifice to the gods.

Charlie has had the same hairstyle for as long as I can remember. Heck, except for that brief period at university when he thought he was Jim Morrison, he has had the same hairstyle for as long as anyone can remember. (Feel free to comment if you disagree!)

However, as I am sure you all will agree, a change was long overdue. Yes, that's right. Charlie shaved his head. And I must say that I am presently surprised at the results. Who knew what shape was lurking under that thick, curly mane of his? But, he actually has a nicely shaped head.

Here are the before and after pictures in all their glory. He also got a shave. By a guy who looked like he was about 13.
