After New Year's in Vagator, Charlie and I headed up the North coast of Goa to the town of Mandrem. It is a sleepy little town. Not even a town really, but a collection of guest houses and restaurants. The beach is long, wide and relatively unpopulated, with white, powdery sand. This is what we thought Goa would be like, and what it probably was like a decade or two ago. Very relaxing.
